Strangeness

WHITE HEAD ALERT
 So one time I went to the mountains wearing pants that had a small hole in the knee. Then as went up and down, it started to look more like this. I wripped them off into shorts, then things just started unraveled from there.
My friend found a lemur. He wanted me to keep it, but I don't have time to keep care of him all the time. Had a fun 4 days with him though. He was returned to his mom.
 This is my buddy. He's a pumalo. Like a big orange. I got it for a present from my student. I decided to draw a face on it. I carried it on the back of my motorcycle back from class with the helmet on. Got to keep him safe.
 Me and my old teacher, Sam, went on a trip to the other side of the island. We're pretty gangsta.

Me and a friend from my town went on a trip to see the only lake that exists on this island. It's actually pretty big. 
So one time on the east side of our island this thing showed up on the beach. The locals were pretty scared, and the police arrested the one white guy who was in it. He was American, had lived in Poland I think most of his life. He built this thing on his own. It's got a navigation room up top, two rooms down below with enough food/water for like 2 years or something. He was going to live on the ocean, but got robbed near India of all his money. The motor then broke so he floated along for 3-4 months out at sea 'till he landed up on our island. He had no money, didn't want to call anyone, said he had no friends/family. So...they all said he was "with-it", but I wonder....Pretty intense looking tank/sub/ship

 On the trip with sam, we found these folks and had a small picnic.
 Hello birdy.
 Bye bye birdy. Wasn't very tasty actually. Not fat enough. Neighbor caught it in trap.
 My new mattress I got on another island. Yes, snoopy! Holy cow i sleep so much better now. I don't have a hurting back all the time!

June 2025 Update Pics

Here are some photos of life lately. They all loaded in a random order so I just went with it. Enjoy: Luna and her teacher (with Daddy and Ben) on her very last day of Pre-K We had a small celebration for Ben's birthday with the team and at home with a candle in his grilled cheese sandwich. The real party will happen when his grandparents get here.  Us all together on Turtle Day enjoying our ice creams. Ice cream! An incredibly rare treat on our island! Nothing beats playing on the beach. When Luna dresses herself for our walks.  Luna and her friend playing dress up. Luna's pose just cracks me up.  I made John pose next this old building built in the old-timey way that is no longer used. A house built of coral by the beach on our date.  After Luna's last day of school she was allowed to invited a friend over for dinner to celebrate with rainbow spaghetti!  These 4 rule the neighborhood.  Jumping on the trampoline at a nice restaurant in town on Mother's Day...

February in Kenya (and some of the last year!)

Day sister's left :-( Cousin shenanigans Concert! Ben LOVES cars Elephant Orphanage Went on a day safari through Nairobi National Park A safari with kids is sure an interesting experience! Ben was super sick, he passed out on me like this Proud that I fed TWO giraffes at the same time! Making pizza at a restaurant called Under the Swahili Tree Jammed into an uber Reunion with our old team! Sibling love! (day they arrived) Found this at our conference center Not at all the outcome we were hoping for, but grateful to get to watch it and still grateful for getting to play in ANOTHER super bowl! Kid was getting warn out by kid's club! First pizza in kenya! Accidentally bought sour milk my first time to the grocery store! Not sure about these moving stairs thing The guy in the front is one of the star players for the national team. I thought I recognized him and asked...he was visiting with his two wives and like 8 kids. They play in qualifications for the World Cup later this year!...
